Tattoo Prep

How to prep before appointment

Bring a pair of dark sunglasses or a cap to protect yourself from the light used during your tattoo session!
1

Moisturize

Moisturize your skin as much as you can at least a week prior that makes the skin easier to work with and also helps the healing process to go smoother.

2

No Alcohol or Drugs

No alcohol and drugs use three days before and no strong coffee two hours before an appointment. They make your blood thinner and raise your blood pressure, which leads to a high risk of bleeding and swelling. It makes the process of tattooing uncomfortable to do, and also affects the healing process, meaning a final result too.

3

Shave

Shave the area of tattooing before an appointment. This provides a smooth surface to work on.

4

Sleep & Eat

Sleep well, and eat properly before the session. It affects your pain threshold and general state of being.

5

Dress Comfortably

Wear loose and comfortable clothes, better if it’s dark colors because the ink hardly washes off.

6

Snacks & Water

Bring some snacks and sweet drinks just in case you experience the feeling of fatigue.
